 Never in my life did I anticipate we would be living in such a strange time in history. So many different levels of weird are happening to everyone in the world right now. I mean... What a memorable time for a wedding! Some couples have chosen to reschedule, others have adjusted their ceremonies so they can still happen with an official wedding day later next year, or, like Karly and Rick, they went through and will be celebrating with a reception next April. What a well thought out celebration they had considering the circumstances. Not only are we mid-pandemic, but the forecast called for rain all day, and it didn't disappoint. They were married with a group of 9 (myself included) inside the church, while groups of family and close friends watched the live stream from the parking lot and comfort of their own quarantined cars. We absolutely made the most of the day, and Rick masterminded a surprise for Karly with a Precinct dinner in their dining room, decorated by family.
